    Jolen Anderson is Chief Diversity Officer and Chief Counsel Employment and Corporate Social Responsibility at Visa. Since joining in 2005, Jolen has held a variety of roles within the legal department and demonstrated a commitment and passion for promoting talent with a particular emphasis on Diversity & Inclusion. As Chief Diversity Officer, she leads the development and implementation of Visa’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy. She leads a team focused on enterprise-wide change efforts for the advancement and retention of top performing talent inclusive of women and people of color in an inclusive work culture. Prior to her current role, Jolen held the position of Associate General Counsel, Employment and led the effort to provide legal support to the global human resource team, including serving as the legal advisor for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Visa Inc., Jolen practiced law at a Chicago law firm where she represented parties in labor and employment matters pending in state and federal court, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other government agencies. She is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Policy from Northwestern University. Jolen is admitted to practice in California and Illinois, and is a member of the Charles Houston Bar Association, Black Women Lawyers Association, Minority Corporate Counsel Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, and the Labor and Employment Section of the America Bar Association. She is also a member of the board of directors for the San Francisco African American Art and Culture Complex. As she describes, she is an “Attorney by training; HR and Diversity professional by passion.”

Her personal passion for and commitment to serving others has led her to her work as Board Director at Mouse.org, an organization that supports youth from underserved demographics via a technology education, and as a committee member of FACE Africa, an organization addressing water and sanitation issues in subsaharan Africa. She holds a B.S. in Materials Engineering w/ minors in Mathematics, Economics and Computer Science from Rutgers University, a M.S. in Financial Engineering and a Grad Certificate in Risk Management from New York University, and a MBA in Strategy, Finance and Decision Sciences from Emory University. She has also studied at top schools around the world including FGV Rio (Brazil), WHU Koblenz (Germany), RSM Erasmus (Netherlands), The London School of Economics and SDA Bocconi (Italy). She is an avid photographer and world traveler, having visited 100+ countries and counting.

As the Head of Diversity & Inclusion and Cross-Cultural Marketing at Unilever, Mita’s efforts to build an inclusive culture are being celebrated. Under her leadership, Unilever was named the #1 Company for Working Mothers by Working Mother Media in 2018. She also co-created the first of its kind Cultural Immersions series to increase the cultural competency of marketers training over 3,000 marketers to date. Mita has also had an extensive career in the beauty and consumer products goods space. Mita is a passionate storyteller who believes in the power of diversity to transform business and brands. She was one of the chief lieutenants in launching The Vaseline Healing Project in the U.S., signing award-winning actress & activist Viola Davis as the brand’s ambassador. Mita was named a Working Mother of the Year by She Runs It (Formerly Advertising Women of New York) and a Valiente Award Finalist at SXSW for her inspiring work in 2019. She received the Inaugural Diversity Innovator Award from the National Association for Female Executives in 2018, and was on the “50 People Under 40 Shaking Up Beauty” Youthquake List by Women’s Wear Daily 2017. Mita has a B.A. from Columbia University and a M.B.A. from Duke University.

Prior to launching Warby Parker in 2010, Dave worked at merchant bank Allen & Company and strategy consulting firm Bain & Company. Dave has worked extensively with nonprofit organizations, and serves as a founding member of the Entrepreneur Board of Venture for America, an organization dedicated to mobilizing entrepreneurs in low-cost cities. He is a Henry Crown Fellow through the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. In 2018, he was named a McNulty Laureate by the McNulty Foundation.
